We started with a simple idea.

Company overview

Leaders of freedom fighters Dr. G. D. Bapu Lad founded the Kranti Co-operative Sugar Factory by overcoming many difficulties. It was a big challenge to establish sugar mill in drought-affected areas of Sangli district.

The first batch of crop of the factory took place in year 2002-2003. After the successful start of the Factory, it was necessary to increase the production of sugarcane.

But this challenge was overcome by farsightedness of bapu and then he took up the most difficult task of increasing the production of Sugarcane. For this, first of all, he established the independent Sugarcane Development Department.

In the last 10 years, he and Arun Lad have changed the way of Sugarcane farming radically in the area.

Awards

Due to drought conditions, the first year (2002-03, 2003-04 and 2004-05), during the three seasons, has been utilized for less than 50% of the crushing capacity of the season 2005-06 to 2012-13, however, The factory is running. The factory has received the following award as the factory is run very efficiently and according to proper planning.

National Awards
- National Federation of Co-op. Sugar Factory Ltd., New Delhi.
  1) Received the best number award for technical efficiency in high sugar north division for the season 2019-20.
  2) In the year 2017-18, the High Sugar Extraction Scope received the National Level First Level Award for Sugarcane Development Work.
  3) Vasantdada Patil received the first award as the best co-operative sugar factory in the country during the 2016-17 season, about the overall performance of technical performance, sugarcane development and economic planning.
  4) First Class Award for Best Cooperative Sugar Factory in the High Sugar Extraction of 2015-16.
  5) First Class Award for Best Co-operative Sugar Factory in the Upper Sugar Extract section of 2014-15.
  6) Received the National Level Award for Best Sugarcane Development in the 2013-14 sugar cane development division.
  7) Received National Level Number one Award for Technical Performance in the High Sugar Extraction section of 2008-09.
  8) In the year 2007-08, the High Sugar Extraction Scope received the National Level First Level Award for Sugarcane Development Work.
  9) In the high sugar extraction section of 2005-06, the best technical performance of the National level for the first time is awarded.
State Awards
- Vasantdada Sugar Institute, Manjeri Bru !! Pune.
  1) Received the first prize for the best sugar factory in the name of late Vasantdada Patil for the year 2020-2021.
  2)In the year 2019-2020 late Appasaheb alias Sa. Ray Received the first rank award for Ukushtha Sugarcane Development and Conservation given in the name of Patil.
  3) Awarded the Best Entrepreneurship Sugar Factory Award in Maharashtra named after late Vilasraoji Deshmukh for the year 2018-2019.
  4) Awarded third place for outstanding technical performance in South Division for the year 2017-2018.
  5)2017-2018 Best Sugarcane Development and Conservation in Southern Region Awarded First Rank.
  6) 2017-2018 Awarded in the name of Late Karmayogi Shankararao Patil for Best Financial Management.
  7) 2016-2017 Best Environmental Conservation Award named after late Abasaheb aka Kisan Mahadev Veer.
  8) Received the top-ranked award for Best Financial Management in the year 2012-13.
  9) First year award for best sugarcane development and services in the year 2012-13.
  10) Received the highest number of award for the best sugarcane development and services of 2008-09.
  11) Received the top-ranked award for Best Financial Management in the year 2007-08.
  12) First Class Award for the Best Technical Performance of 2008-09.
