Sharad Arun Lad

Mr. Sharad Arun Lad, widely recognized as Sharad bhau, was born on Sunday, 15th February, 1981, in Karad, District Satara. He pursued his educational journey with dedication, starting from his primary education at Z P School No.1 Kundal, followed by his secondary and higher secondary education at Sangli High School, Sangli. His thirst for knowledge led him to achieve a B.Sc. degree from Willingdon College, Sangli, and he further enhanced his expertise by completing an M.B.A. in Sangli. Throughout his career, Sharad bhau has held significant positions that reflect his commitment to public service and leadership. He served as a Group Leader at Zilla Parishad, Sangli, and held the position of Former President at the Sangli District Youth Nationalist Congress Party. Notably, he has served as the Chairman of the Krantiagrani Dr. G. D. Bapu Lad Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd. in Kundal, Tal. Palus, Dist. Sangli, showcasing his dedication to cooperative sugar manufacturing. His active involvement is also evident as a Member of the General Body at Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, Satara, and as the State Vice President of the Youth Nationalist Congress Party. Furthermore, he took charge as Chairman of various organizations, including Kranti Upsa Jalsinchan Yojana Ltd., Palus-Kadegaon Taluka Kharedi Vikri Sangh Ltd., and Palus Taluka Farmer Producer Company Ltd., emphasizing his multifaceted leadership. Sharad bhau's family background is steeped in a tradition of public service and leadership. His father, Hon. Arun Ganapati Lad (Anna), holds the distinguished position of a Member of the Legislative Council and is the Chief of the Kranti Group of Industries and Institutions in Kundal. His mother, Mrs. Pramila (Tai) Arun Lad, stands as a pillar of support, contributing to the family's commitment to public welfare. The legacy of Sharad bhau's family is highlighted by his grandfather, Krantiagrani Dr. G. D. Bapu Lad, a remarkable freedom fighter, organizer of Satara Pratisarakar, and a leader of workers. His grandmother, Krantivirangana Vijayatai Ganapati Lad, continues this legacy of courage and dedication. Sharad bhau's hobbies and interests extend to social work and reading, showcasing his passion for community betterment and intellectual growth. His remarkable contributions have not gone unnoticed, as he has been honored with the 'Yuva Sanman' by Krishithon Award 2016 in Nashik, the 'Youth Idol' award by Youth Leader Magazine, and the prestigious 'Best Member of Zilla Parishad' award presented by Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti Members' Association, Pune. Through his tireless efforts and leadership, Sharad bhau continues to leave an indelible mark on society.
