Leaders of freedom fighters Dr. G. D. Bapu Lad founded the Kranti Co-operative Sugar Factory by overcoming many difficulties. It was a big challenge to establish sugar mill in drought-affected areas of Sangli district. The first batch of crop of the factory took place in year 2002-2003. After the successful start of the Factory, it was necessary to increase the production of sugarcane. But this challenge was overcome by farsightedness of baapu and then he took up the most difficult task of increasing the production of Sugarcane. For this, first of all, he established the independent Sugarcane Development Department. In the last 10 years, he and Arun Lad have changed the way of Sugarcane farming radically in the area.

The world is near in the modern age of information and technology. Therefore, the use of information technology will be made available in the work of the factory to make the work of the factory transparent and besides, the farmers will be provided with factory comfort, timely and low cost.

In this case, each traffic contractor and one of the contractors, NFC The cards are given. All the traffic information is filled in it. The information which is supplied by the sugarcane field / bullock carriage field assisted by mobile application is provided by NFC.
Tagged RFID is used for all vehicles transporting sugarcane, as soon as the teak arrives, the number of accelerated number from the track installed on the bucket,

Mr. Dr. G. D. Bapu Lad's foresight and his passion for farmer, workers and his guidance.
This sugar factory has been set up by Arun (Anna) Lad's tireless efforts, and a successful journey is going on. The registration of the factories has been done on 12/5/1997 and by buying shares of Sugarcane growers in 71 villages in the field of the factory.
Founder Director
Arun Lad was born on October 29, 1947 in a social worker farmer family and Yeloor (Ta. Walwa) of the Kundal in Palus taluka of Sangli district.
Satara's counter-government storm surgeon Field Marshal Krantiagrani J D. His father is his father and his mother is a mother of revolutionist Vijayatai Lad. Arun Lad is a well-known figure in Anna Hazare's name in small towns. His primary education was in Zilla Parishad School of Kundal (Sangli). Candidates of Secondary Education Kundal have completed the high school. He has obtained B.Sc. (Agriculture) degree from Agriculture College, Kolhapur. After completing the education, he chose to do good farming and social work without doing his job.

Sharad Arun Lad, widely known as Sharad bhau, was born on February 15, 1981, in Karad, District Satara. He embarked on an educational journey from Z P School No.1 Kundal to Sangli High School, culminating in a B.Sc. from Willingdon College, Sangli, and an M.B.A. in Sangli. Sharad bhau's commitment to public service is evident in his roles as Group Leader at Zilla Parishad, Sangli, Former President of the Sangli District Youth Nationalist Congress Party, and Chairman of Krantiagrani Dr. G. D. Bapu Lad Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd. His multifaceted leadership extends to various organizations, and he actively contributes as the State Vice President of the Youth Nationalist Congress Party. Born into a family of public servants, including his father Hon. Arun Ganapati Lad and mother Mrs. Pramila Arun Lad, Sharad bhau continues a legacy started by his grandfather, Krantiagrani Dr. G. D. Bapu Lad, a notable freedom fighter. His dedication to community betterment, reflected in his involvement with social work and reading, has earned him accolades such as the 'Yuva Sanman' by Krishithon Award 2016 and the 'Youth Idol' award. Through tireless efforts, Sharad bhau leaves an enduring mark on society.
